OUR HISTORY
CICC: “ A Dream Come True”
Several years ago a “new immigrant” attended my nursing review course. He was one of my brightest. Of course he passed his nursing licensing exam on his first try!
But our story began when after a few years I received a phone call from this student. He told me on the phone that he would like me to become his Director for his college. To make the long story short we met at his school. However, I couldn't accept this great offer as I was running another school, Nurses Education, at that time. After long deliberation, we decided that we would move to a new and bigger place and run both schools on the same location where I could be his Director.
The miracle happened when after about a year of operating under same roof, this student became so busy with his nursing career. He offered me to buy his college. I said yes right away…I was afraid that he might change his mind!
Long before meeting this student, I have been longing to own and operate my own college. I told God that WHEN He gives me the college, If possible I want the word “International” in the name. Guess what the school’s name was - Canadian International Career College’!
I hope you believe in miracles, I do. Some may say that everything was just coincidence! Maybe not! I sincerely believe that from the beginning God has been orchestrating the acquisition of the college for me and for my family!
The Ministry has approved CICC as a private career college in 2008. It was in 2013 that we took over. We are forever grateful for this beautiful gift from the Almighty and thus committed CICC to be THE place for students (local and international) to achieve their dream education and prepare them to become valued employees and employers of their local and/or global communities. Teaching, which I am very passionate about, is an added bonus for me at CICC.
It is has been CICC’s goal to leave a legacy through quality education that is meant to perpetuate from one generation to another. All glory to God!
